Night Fishing Preparation
I have to admit this subject bores me to tears. Amazingly, the
simple fact is that every time I interviewed a fisherman about
night fishing tips he mentioned preparation at the top of the
list.
As boring as the topic can be, make it a habit to go through
this section as a checklist before embarking an a night fishing
excursion. I am guilty of forgetting some essentials from time
to time ' make sure you don't!
Early morning, evening, and night fishing can be extremely
fulfilling (in terms of the ...

Fishing Equipment Tips
b>Cheap Sinkers
Spark plugs make excellent disposable sinkers. Need some cheap
(free) fishing weights? Go to any gas station and ask for them.
Then, loop a rubber band through the electrode and then tapping
the wire down the plug can be attached to a loop of
monofilament. The rubber band stretches when the plug is hung
up, and even if the extra stretching force isn't enough to break
free, the band will break before the monofilament.

Why Should You Buy a Custom Fishing Rod?
Well, perhaps you shouldn't. If you have just started fishing,
and occasionally dunk a worm for panfish, you can easily get by
with a cheap rod from a discount store. But, if you have
progressed in the art of fishing to the point where you get a
kick out of your equipment, and have learned to appreciate the
benefits of a sensitive rod, the custom rod may be for you.

Fly fishing trips for the uninitiated
If you have never taken a fly fishing trip before and you are
planning on heading for the wilderness, take along a buddy. At

if you spend several hours in freezing weather dressed only in

Remember that the more remote the stream you are fishing, the

Quality Matters in Fly Reels
Like everything else in this world, quality matters when trout
fishing. If all you will ever do is fish for small trout and pan
fish, virtually any cheap fly reel will work just fine. In these
situations, all a reel really does is to serve as a place to
hold fly line. And even a cheap reel does this task ok.
Unfortunately, this all changes once you get a large fish on the
other end of your fly line. If the fly reel you are using is not
well made with precision parts, the line will come out ...
